The movement that I am most interested in is animal rights and movements, because I have always been fascinated by animals and hate that there are people who abuse them and think that it is okay to do that. The activist that I am most interested in learning and researching about is Jane Goodall, who is one of the most famous animal activists, and Releigh Lilith, who is a youtuber and animal activist who is mostly into equine equality ( equine is a word for something relating to the horse family). Some questions that I have about these movements and activists is can animal activists be for a certain species and still be an animal activist? If they are for a certain animal then wouldn’t it be called that certain animal activist? An example is an activist that fights for specifically dogs, would they be called a dog activist, or just an animal activist? Some other activists that I would want to research are Elisa Aaltola, Carol J. Adams and Brigitte Bardot.

The movement I am most interested in is the Civil Right movements because I love to learn about people who fight/protest for their rights. The Social activist that I am most interested in researching is Jackie Robinson because of the way he fought for his rights by playing baseball with an all white team and protesting. Also his journey to becoming a hall of fame player, like the criticism he got (hate letters). Questions that I have are, what was the hardest thing about Jackie Robinson’s journey, was it the hate letters or the people yelling at home? Another question was, who helped Jackie through his journey? Lastly, what did it feel like to be the first black to play in the MLB(all other players in the league were white)? Some other activists that I would like to research are Martin Luther King Jr, Rosa Parks, and Malala Yousafzai.

I am most interested in the animal rights movement because I am interested in exactly how to protest for animals’ rights. It is also such a unique movement because animals were, and still are, exploited just like slaves used to be, except they have no power whatsoever to protest. The activist I am looking forward to researching is Temple Grandin. Last year, when my ELA class was assigned a famous person, somebody researched Temple Grandin. The reason I wanted to research this gifted woman because she was diagnosed with autism and used her ability to protest for the equality of animals. I want to research her because she’s my inspiration! A question I have about the Animal Rights Movement is: How do you expect to raise awareness about a COMPLETELY different species’ problems? A question about Temple Grandin that rose up in my head was: Is she alive and protesting today? My final question about Temple Grandin is: did anybody stand in her way of helping the abused animals of this planet? If so, how did she overcome them? Another Animal Rights activist that I would like to research is Gary Yourofsky. He made thousands of speeches trying to promote veganism and the equality of animals. Also, here is a quote from Alice Walker that I very vividly agree with that regards to the animals’ rights: “The animals of the world exist for their own reasons. They were not made for humans any more than black people were made for white, or women created for men.”

The movement I’m most interested in researching about is animal rights because it’s important that everyone, including animals are treated fairly. I want to research the activist Howard Lyman. He is a cattle rancher, who is the author of "Mad Cowboy" which is about how Lyman changed to a vegan for the sake of his animals on his farm. He’s known as the “Cattle Rancher Who Won’t Eat Meat.” I want to research about him because I want to know what made him completely change his life for his animals on the farm. I wonder how animal activists get their word out there into the world, and what makes them so dedicated to caring for animals. I also would like to know what they think of the world treating animals in general. I may also want to research about the French animal rights activist Brigitte Bardot, and Misty Copeland the very first African American performer for the American Ballet Theater.

The movement i’m most interested in researching is the women’s rights act. I find it really cool how women pushed to become equals to men. I am most interested in searching about Clara Barton. She was a nurse during the civil war and she was the founder of the Red Cross. She was also the first President of the Red Cross. Three questions I still have about this activist is:

The movement that I am most interested in researching is the civil rights movement I am interested in this movement because I think that there was so much hate for African-Americans at the time, but they were still brave and stood up for what was right. The activist that I am most interested in researching is Jesse Owens. I am interested in Jesse Owens because he was a runner and I think that it would make me more interested in the research to research someone that I have something in common with. 3 question that I have are, did Jesse Owens grow up as a slave? How did Jesse Owens die? What inspired Jesse Owens to become a runner (did it somehow tie into having rights for African-Americans)? Some activists that I would like to research are, Muhammad Ali, Jackie Robinson, John Kennedy. These are a few people that I have heard of and found to be very interesting.

Slavery was illegal during Jesse Owens' time. Slavery ended in 1865 and Jesse Owens was born in 1913. However, segregation did exist during his time.

The movement I am most interested in is Civil Rights, because I want to see how Black people were treated when there was segregation. The activist that I am most interested in is Muhammad Ali because he was a boxer who won many heavyweight championships as a youth and was told to go serve for our country. Muhammad Ali said “no” and they took away all his heavyweight championships medals and trophies. His real name was Cashes Clay and after they stripped him of his championships he became Islamic and changed his name to Muhammad Ali.

A movement that I am interested in researching is animal rights, because most of the activist I see mostly don’t really fight for animal rights. A activist that I am the most interested in is Jane Goodall, because she fights for animal rights and she seems very interesting and I would like to learn more about her.Questions that I have are, Is this movement common for activist? What did Jane do to get her point across? Do other activist that fight for animal rights fight for only one species or a lot? Other Activist that I want to research are Joan of Arc, and Foster Durr.

I am most interested in researching the Civil rights movement, because I really enjoy learning about great change over the years. The social activist I am most interested in researching is Martin Luther jr. , because I really want to know more about him and his famous “I Have A Dream” speech. Some questions I have about Martin Luther King Jr. are 1) How did Martin Luther King Jr. prepare his famous speech? 2)Who else was involved in the Civil Rights movement? 3) Why is it declared that the Civil Rights movement ended in 1968? Because it seems like some of the issues are still present today.4) What changed in 1968 that got people to think that the Civil Rights movement was over? 5) After Martin Luther King was assassinated, who picked up where Martin luther King Jr. left off? Other activists I am interested in researching are Malala Yousafzai,Ruby Bridges, and Ghandi.

The movement I am most interested in is the civil rights movement. I found this movement interesting because of how big of a deal it was and how bad people were treated. One activist I am interested in from this movement is Jackie Robinson. This is one of my favorite activists because he was a huge part in the fight for equality and also plays a sport that I play. One question that I still have is when did the civil rights movement end? Another thing I have not found is were there any people similar to Jackie Robinson in other sports? Finally, how many African Americans died due to this movement? Some other activists I have looked at were Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X, and Harriet Tubman. These people are all pretty similar and should be interesting to learn about. I am looking forward to researching one of these activists.

The movement i’m most interested in researching is environmental movement. I would like to research the environmental movement because it is helpful to the environment and animals. It seems like a fun topic to research. It is a really inspirational movement. The Activist I want to research is Jane Goodall. She is really interesting to me I learned a little about her in 3rd grade and I remember her being really fun and helpful. I loved hearing and reading about Jane. Some questions I have about her are Is she still alive? How did you learn all of the names? Did you learn anything from the monkeys? Did you ever feel nervous about the monkeys? Did you have a favorite chimpanzee? How long were you in the jungle? Did you like any other animals on you journey? Some other activists I want to research are Rosa Parks, Malala, Harriet Tubman, and Ruby Bridges.

The movement I am most interested in is the women’s rights movement. I am interested in this movement because I am interested on why women did not get the same rights as men and how they changed the society to get equal rights. I am interested in researching Susan B. Anthony because she was a women's rights activist and that is a topic that I am highly interested in. Three questions I have about women's rights is, did all women get excluded from power or just some women? Were women punished if they did something that men thought was out of their power? Did women have jobs?

I am most interested in researching about Animal Rights. I want to learn more about it, because I really like animals, and I want to see how people help them. The social activist I am most interested in researching is Cesar Chavez, mainly because he was associated with my assigned activist, Dolores Huerta. Some things I want to know are: 1, how people can help animals, 2, how to help out the people helping protect animals, and 3, how to know when animals need your help. I want to research Linda Schiller, not the Linda Schiller in Watertown, but the Linda Schiller in Upper Montclair, New Jersey. The reasoning behind this is because she founded the 11th Hour Rescue. The 11th Hour Rescue takes dogs from high kill-rate shelters down South, and helps them have a better chance of being adopted. I got my two dogs, Cosmo and Chipper from 11th Hour Rescue, and I’m glad that they didn’t stay down South or else my family and I wouldn’t have found them.

The movement I am most interested is Civil rights movements. I am interested in researching it because I like learning about people who stand up for themselves and others in order to fight for their rights. The activist I am most interested in is Ruby Bridges. It is because last year we watched a movie about her and it was brave what she did. The movie captured the the major picture around the integration of the school and I really thought it was interesting how she kept on going. I was most interested by her persistence and not listening to the major criticism given by adults. The questions I have on both Ruby Bridges and the Civil Rights movements are, What was Ruby Bridges taught in school by herself, were the other kids the second year discriminating as the parents to Ruby, and how many white people were discriminating during early civil rights movements. An additional activist I would research is John Lewis.

The movement I am most interested in researching is the Civil Rights movement because I believe that everyone is equal and because it is still a big problem today. I am most interested in researching Nelson Mandela because he shows us that the Civil Rights Movement was not just something happening in America but also something happening all over the world including South Africa. Three questions I have about Nelson Mandela and the Civil Rights movement are: What were some specific difficulties Nelson Mandela faced? Is South Africa now completely desegregated? What laws did Nelson Mandela make to help South Africa. Some other activists I would want to research are Muhammed Ali and Thurgood Marshall.

The movement I am most interested in was the Anti-War Movement. People wanted to end the Vietnam war. The movement was about social awareness. It based its ideas on the Port Huron Statement, written in 1962 by Students for a Democratic Society; it was critical of America in terms of racism, uneven wealth distribution and misuse of natural resources, among other things. The movement staged sit-ins, strikes, protests, and in October 1969, a 500,000-person march on Washington. When in 1971 the New York Times published the Pentagon Papers, a report that detailed unflattering truths about our involvement in Vietnam. Richard Nixon brought the last soldiers home in 1973. The war was over.

Out of the thousands of movements the one i'm most interested in is the Anti-nuclear movement because the anti-nuclear movement is a large group that's against nuclear technology and its effects on the environment which is very interesting. Out of the Billions of activists the one i'm interested is Albert Einstein. I chose Albert Einstein because he was the creator of the general theory of relativity and one of the creators of the nuclear bomb also know as a nuke. But he also was an anti-war activist and fought for civil rights seeing similarities between American segregation and the treatment of Jews in Germany. Question 1. Did the Anti-nuclear movement have any impact on nuclear technology. Question 2. Did Albert Einstein ever meet Martin Lewis King Jr when Albert Einstein protested for civil rights. Question 3 did the Anti-nuclear movement help people see the importance of stopping nuclear technology or did they fail trying. I would research most likely research Mohandas Gandhi or Martin Niemöller.

The movements that I am most interested in is civil rights. Some of the people that I would like to research are Jackie Robinson and, because I like learning about athletes that make a difference in the world. What would have done if the mlb didn’t let him play. Also if you do anything different would you. And one of the other social activists I would like to study is Martin Luther King, because he was the person who started and was the face of most of the civil rights movements. Some of the questions that I would have for him are how were you so brave.

I am most interested in learning about equality between races. This was and still is a big problem today. The activist I am most interested in is Misty Copeland. She is the first female African American principal dancer. She was and still is a famous african american ballerina. She had started learning to dance and was on point a few months after. She has been very non-stop about her devotion to dancing. She has been a big inspiration to me and she won’t let anything stop her. Soon after she has become an activist for black live and a big role model for young dancers like she once was. My questions for Misty Copeland and what she fights for are very important to me. My first question would be how does she have so much time to advocate and yet still practice dancing. My second question would be what motivated her to continue dancing. The last question would be what her biggest challenges apart from her environment growing up. Another activist apart from the poster I would like to learn about is Jackie Robinson.

I am most interested in researching the Indian quest for freedom from British rule because most people do not know that India was once a British colony. I would like to research the activist Mohandas Gandhi because he was involved in the Indian independence movement and he seems like an interesting fellow who’s had an impact on the earth. I have many questions regarding Mr. Gandhi. What I would like to know is; What was Mr. Gandhi’s backstory? What compelled Mr. Gandhi to do what he did? What are some reasons/aspects/events in Mr. Gandhi’s life that may have caused him to act peacefully in protest? How/when did Mr. Gandhi die? Some other activists that I am interested in are Muhammad Ali and what he did, LeBron James and his fight against civil injustice, and Howard Gayle, and what he did to educate people on passive racism (also the first black player at Liverpool Football Club).

I’m most interested in researching about is Jackie Robinson because he protested that all colors should be able to play in any sports. My question for Jackie Robinson is that what were some problems did you have while you were protesting? My second question for him is that what inspired you to protest that all colors should be able to play in any sports.Latsy, my third question is that who helped you in this journey. Overall, I want to leaner more about is Emmett Till.

I am most interested in researching the Women's Rights movement. That is because I believe in equality for all genders. I like to learn about other people that feel the same way I do and are willing to speak out about it. I am most interested in researching Eleanor Roosevelt. The movement i am most interested in is women's rights by Susan B. Anthony. I don't understand why women don't get the same rights as men. The funny thing is that the majority of changes made in our country are women. Why can't everyone just get equal rights and be treated fairly. Some questions i have about women’s rights is, why did women not get to do as much as men. Why can’t women have the same, and equal rights. Finally why did this impact us so much. I would be interested to research Susan B. Anthony if i was given a choice.

I am interested in researching Rosa Parks, Ruby Bridges, Harriet Tubman, and Misty Copeland. Some of my questions are What inspired these activists to do these things? What struggles did these activists have to overcome? and Was there any doubt in their mind saying, “Am I actually going to accomplish this? The movement that I am most interested in studying is civil rights. I think that it is awful at a time weren’t even treated like human beings, and a deep hatred still runs in this country. I am most interested in researching Ruby Bridges. I am most interested in researching her because she is so inspiring. I can’t believe that at the age of about 6 or 7, she had the strength to face all of that hatred and racism so she could go to a better school. Shew is a trailblazer and now schools are incredibly diverse. The first question I have about her is if she ever was actually physically hurt by doing what she did. My second question is how long after that were all schools officially integrated. Lastly, did any of the protesters show up at her house or try and hurt her family. I am also interested in Harriet Tubman, because she is extremely courageous for trying to help others escape slavery. She could have easily stayed out of it because she was safe in the north, but she was so incredibly gallant that she tried to help everyone else no matter what it meant for her. Although Harriet Tubman is great, my first pick is definitely Ruby Bridges.

I like learning about woman rights and civil rights and think that men and women no matter the color of their skin, should have equal rights. I want to learn about Rosa Parks because she stood up for herself on a bus against a white man telling her to move. Did all white people think they were better than all black people, or did some white people treat them fairly? Who came up with the idea that white skinned people were better than black skinned people, why didn’t they think the black skinned people were better? Would their still be unfair woman rights and dark skin rights if Rosa Parks and other social activists never stood up for themselves and others? Also I could be interested in researching Martin Luther King, since he also fought for civil rights and colored skin rights.
