I am most like Johnny cade because like me and him we play like a small role in life but we can do good things if we are given a right chance to.Like the part where they were at the church when Johnny went to go help the kids in the fire, nobody knew Johnny could be capable of doing something like that but he was given an opportunity.Another part I can relate to is when Ponyboy and Dallas were talking about the rumble but it didn’t even phase him that he would miss it.He doesn’t like fighting just like me but I fight if it’s for fun with someone I’m close with.So even though Johnny is quiet throughout the book it’s not like he can’t accomplish thing it just means he is waiting for the right scenario and situation to come to show his worthiness just like me.

I can relate to Ponyboy the most. I can relate to Pony the most because he likes to read and watch movies. I also like to watch movies and read. I can also relate to him because he likes school and wants/gets good grades. I also want/get good grades just like him. I can also relate to Pony because he is absent minded. I can relate to this a little bit because I also sometimes don’t pay attention at what someone is saying and then they ask a question and I have no idea what the question was. I also can relate to Pony because he likes to watch the sunset and I also love to watch the sunset. There are many ways that I can relate to Ponyboy but the last one is that he is empathetic toward his friends and I am also because I can understand what my friends are going through.

I think i am most like Darry because I am street smart and book smart. I know how to act and be cool on the streets, but I get mostly a’s in my classes in school. I don’t have a dad so my sisters don’t either so I sometimes sort of act like one and tell my sister's what to do. I push my sisters around. Even my older sister that is 14 turning 15 on October 21st. I am also like him because I am very athletic like Darry. He got a football scholarship and I play baseball soccer for fun american ninja warrior for kids and I swim a lot for fun when I have the time and my mom lets me. When I am older I am hoping to get a baseball scholarship. My friends say that I am most like Darry to because I am book smart and street smart

The character I can most relate to from The Outsiders is Ponyboy Curtis. I feel a connection with him because we are both outliers. In The Outsiders, Ponyboy likes to go to the movies and read a lot. This is unusual because the rest of the greasers don’t enjoy those activities. Darry likes football, as well as Sodapop. Sodapop also likes to work on cars with Steve, and neither of them can sit still. For example, they couldn’t stay soloem and still when Ponyboy and Johnny invited them to church. Two-Bit ended up dropping a hymn book and making a lot of noise. Dally likes to fight and ride in rodeos, Two-Bit steals, so only Johnny is left to enjoy sermons, movies and books with Ponyboy. In my case, I enjoy reading and writing creatively, but not many other of my friends do. One of my friends enjoys swimming and doing art, another one loves crafts and likes to be with our friends, my sister likes to draw and make creative videos, still another one likes gymnastics, and one greatly enjoys being crafty. Only one is as into reading as I am. My friend will bring a book to lunch and read it for the entire period. I have done this a couple of times, and although I wish he would talk to me sometimes, I’m inspired he is into his books. This is one reason I can most relate to Ponyboy.

The character in The Outsiders I can relate the most to is Ponyboy. I feel the most similar to Ponyboy because I don’t use my head in a lot of situations an I am not street smart but I am smart in school. I feel as if I have a very strong imagination. I like watching movies and playing video games such as Fortnite Battle Royale or watching Youtube or Twitch. In the book, Ponyboy says he likes to watch movies. The text also states many examples of how Ponyboy uses his imagination, and way overthinks things. That happens to me to and I don’t know why but I guess it is because I have a strong imagination too. If school wasn’t about math and science and ELA and social studies and other subjects and it was about what the best thing to do in this situation, I would definitely fail.

I can relate to Ponyboy, living a hard life being in the middle of it all. I can relate to him so deeply about that. Having problems everywhere you go. There's some type of violence going on like either Fist fighting, stabbing, or shooting, and it’s like all you want to do is be a normal kid and not be serious all the time and to just be a kid but where you live you can't just be a kid you can not, not be serious all the time or people will think you slacking and try to hurt you, or try to shoot you yea i can relate to Ponyboy very much, like he have to fight those socks because of where he from that's what you got to do even tho you don't want to, it is what it is. People ask all the time why you look mad why is you mad and you be confused cause you will be like “i'm not mad” or “i don't look like i'm mad’’ and it’s because of what your used of and that's what i'm used of and it was the same for Ponyboy and johnny they had to go to the country and don't know that lifestyle and there used to the city than the country and that's same for me so that's how I can relate to him right now. Yea so this was how i can relate to Ponyboy and well this is how i can relate to him.

The character in The Outsiders that I relate the most to is Ponyboy. I am very book smart like Pony. For example, both of us do very well in school and try our hardest to get good grades. On the other hand, Ponyboy and I aren’t very street smart. We don’t really use our brain unless it has to do with work. Even though everyone in The Outsiders is a teenager, Ponyboy is the closest to my age, since he is fourteen and I am twelve. We both adore our hair and would be very sad if anything happened to it. We both use different products for our hair, like grease to keep them looking sharp. Ponyboy bleached his hair and so did I. Also, two of Ponyboy’s main hobbies are that he likes to read and watch movies. This is just like me because I like reading books, then watching movies based off of them. The reasons above prove why Ponyboy and I are alike.

I believe that I am most like Ponyboy Curtis. I believe that because even though I’m not that book smart, I still get good grades in school and Ponyboy and I are also both not street smart. In the beginning of the book, The Outsiders, Ponyboy is coming back from the movies and gets jumped by some socs but doesn’t have the smartest acts. If I was getting jumped by people, I would probably freak out and have dumb actions, too, which is not a good idea. Another reason that Ponyboy and I are similar is because we are both caring and want to help others. The part in the book when Pony and Johnny are helping the children get out of the fire shows that Ponyboy is caring and wants to help others especially when the fire was his fault. I know that if I accidentally set a fire I would want to help people who are inside trying to get out of the fire. I believe that I am most like Ponyboy Curtis because of how he is booksmart, not street smart, and his bravery and care for others.

I think I am like Ponyboy, in many different ways, not just because he is my favorite character.☺.First of all, I am Schoolsmart, and not Streetsmart. Also I tend to be alone, and I like books and movies. I also feel like an outsider like he does. I also don’t have a lot of friends, but my friends I do have are true friends. My friends are sort of like my “gang”. I am also calm and I don’t like fights. I also lost my Grandmother. and I like to be in school, where I feel safe. I also think everyone should be fair.

In The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton I believe that I am most like Sodapop Curtis. I think this because Soda is very much like “Switzerland” as in meaning of the middle of the fight that is not on either side. I love to take care of my dog and my little cousins and show them that I care about them. What most bothers me is when I’m friends with to people and they’re in a fight. I try to help but after a while it gets irritating. I can be often good at keeping my feelings in too but not so much having a facade on because I’m not very stoic. I also have that best friend that soda has named Steve. But of course it’s not Steve but I really care about her, and that’s what Steve and Sodapop were all about. I definitely think that I am most like Sodapop for many reasons and also love his character in the movie.

The character i'm most like in The Outsiders is Cherry Valance. Cherry stopped the fight with Bob and Randy vs. Ponyboy, Johnny, and Two-Bit after they finished the movie at the drive in. she also said she hates fights when this event happened and so do I. Also when Johnny killed Bob when the socs were drowning Ponyboy it was self defense not murder. Johnny thought if he went back home after he ran away to the country with Ponyboy he was going to go to jail for murder, something he didn’t do because everyone always blames things on the greasers but Cherry stood up for what was right and testified saying Johnny only killed him for self defence and Bob and Randy were drunk that night and out looking for a fight after the movie. Cherry stood up for what was right and i do and would of in that situation too.

The Outsiders character that I can relate to the most is Two bit. I relate to Two Bit most because we are both active, have a high level of energy and are humorous in many ways. I consider myself to be an active person because I am always on the move and play football, soccer, basketball and lacrosse. Two Bit is an active character in the book. For example, when he was howling and jumping around as he and the greasers walked to the rumble. I like to be funny, laugh with my friends and connect to others through humor. Two Bit’s character shows humor throughout the book as he interacts with other characters. His humor is seen when he says, “He’s so greasy he goes to the barber shop for oil changes not haircuts.” Another connection I have to Two Bit is that I decided to dress up like him for Outsiders day and my friends said that I looked just like him.

In the realistic fiction novel The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, the character I can relate to the most is Dally. I can relate to Dally because he can be hard headed and not care about much and I am like that as well. Dally didn’t care about the law because he always broke it and I don’t care about what people think of me. Dally also doesn’t listen when people tell him things because he likes doing his own thing. I am sometimes like that when I don’t want to be bothered. In the book The Outsiders an example of Dally not caring is he gave Johnny and Ponyboy a gun, money, and a place to hide from the police even though he knew that he could get in trouble for helping Ponyboy and Johnny. Another form of Dally not caring is when he was in the car driving Ponyboy to the hospital and he was saying how his dad didn’t care what he did and how his dad didn’t give a hoot about him. This reminds me of myself because if someone i care about needs my help, no matter the consequence I could get into i’ll help that person. This is why I can relate to Dally. Can anyone else relate to him?

The character that I most relate to in The Outsiders is Darry. I am similar to him because when something bad happens I am very stoic. For example when my dog died my parents were telling me it is okay to cry but I would not. Also like Darry I associate crying with weakness. Another reason is that I work very hard and sometimes I really lose my temper with certain people. For example when my brother is doing annoying I scream at him even though he is six feet tall and twenty years old. Darry yells at Ponyboy a lot for not using his head and is seen as a leader with his friends. I often yell at my friends for doing something stupid and I am seen as a leader with them. Overall, I am most like Darry because of his traits, ideas, how he acts, and how he is looked upon by others.

A character in The Outsiders that I can connect to the most is Cherry Valance. Fighting is something that should rarely happen and like Cherry I completely hate fighting. Even if I’m in a tiny argument with my friends, I still know that eventually one side, or person is going to get hurt. Cherry knows that things are rough all over and nothing gold can stay. She always did know that socs had problems too, and with common knowledge, she also knew that greasers had tough lives. Cherry knew that nothing gold can stay after, and maybe before Bob died. I can relate to that because I know about how not all people have perfect lives, and in fact most people have a tough time in life that they have to get through. Two years ago my grandma’s and my aunt’s dog both died within a few months of each other. My aunt’s dog died from cancer and my grandma’s dog died unexpectedly. I was attached to both of them, so it was a painful few months to go through for my grandma and aunt. That was one incident that taught me that nothing gold could stay.

From the Outsiders, I feel that I am mostly like Ponyboy. I feel that I am mostly like Ponyboy because we are both school smart but not as street smart. Also we both don't judge people by their group of friends for example the greasers and the socs, when Pony realized that the socs had problems too and when he started to like Cherry and Randy. I also fell comfortable around my friends and rely on them when I have problems and when I am uncomfortable with a problem. I feel as though my friends are family too, just like Ponyboy feels with the gang, expecally around Johnny, sodapop and Cherry Valance. I am also like Pony because we both are different in some ways from our group of friends. For example Ponyboy goes to school and likes to read and I play many sports and instruments, unlike most of my friends. We are also alike because we both like to read and watch movies. This is why I am mostly like Ponyboy Curtis.

I can relate myself to Johnny Cade. I am really jumpy and almost scared of everything. When A scary movie comes on, I will always be the first one to scream. In the book Johnny is referred to as the small one of the group. All though I am Not small,on the inside I am very small. Not as in like I have a mall personality it’s like if people had a different look that is based on the inside I would totally be very short for my age and very skinny. The absolute smallest person for my age. As Johnny can sometimes be the leader in important events, I sometimes can too. I don’t think i could do what Johnny did when he killed the soc. I probably be just like Ponyboy being hysterical. If I really need to set up into a project I will, but not very often. That’s how I can relate to Johnny cade.

In the Realistic Fiction novel, The Outsiders I can relate the most to Johnny. Johnny definitely has a strong brave side to him. I find myself a brave person and has the ability to do something that could be challenging or difficult. For example Johnny was able to protect himself and ponyboy when being jumped by the Soc’s. He also risked his live for the kids in the burning church with him knot even knowing if he will end out alive. Johnny isn’t like the rest of the gang. He’s a lot like Ponyboy, who thinks about others rather then fights and rumbles, instead like sunsets and movies. I like sentimental moments and opportunities instead of something that could cause trouble or getting yourself hurt. Johnny’s character traits definitely represent me the most out of all the characters in this novel. He suits me well and made me understand what he was going through at a certain moment or how he acted.

If I could say which outsiders character I am, I would be johnny Cade. I say that I would be johnny cade because he would do anything to help people he doesn't know, and he would do anything to help his friends, even kill someone to help his friends. Like me, I would do anything to protect and help my friends. Another reason i am like johnny is that I am very timide when it comes to violence. Like i don’t like fighting. One way on how he hates violence is that he was shaking when he killed bob the soc. But he did it to protect his friends, One more reason on how he hates violence and is timid about it is that he got beaten up by a gang of soces, and is scared silly when he sees soces, and weapons. One way on how I Hate violence is because is that I would not want to betan up and i think there is a better way to settle disburse other than violence.

I think I am most like Two-bit Mathews because he is funny and active and moves a lot and i am very active i like to play football, baseball, basketball, and run. I like when I make people laugh and I when i am being active playing my sports or doing something else. In the book and movie two bit is active because he is jumping up and down howling when they are walking to the rumble and he also did a backflip jumping of that car in the movie. Two-bit is also humorous when he went to the barber shop and got an oil change for his car. Also Two-Bit is so loud because two-Bit has so much energy in him. Two-bit also loves wearing a mickey mouse shirt and that made me laugh inside a little. I also love making my friends and teachers laugh when I say something because it means that they like my jokes. Two-bit also loves to play around and I like playing around with my friends whether it is football or baseball or whatever sport it is I love playing around with my friends

The character I am most like is TwoBit. I am always making my friends laugh when there down or when we’re just talking . I like to mess around with my friends, like saying there’s a test even though we don’t and I get them worried. Like when TwoBit acted like a soc at the drive in movie theater to scare Johnny and Pony . On the positivity survey my number three character trait was humor. Me and my friends make fun of each other which makes me and them laugh. I also scream into my headset over Xbox which makes them laugh and drives my dad crazy. I am also sarcastic with my family and friends. I am lazy so my room is very messy and there's clothes and stuff on the ground. I like to do stuff with my friends like he does with the gang.
